QUEENSBOROUGH SHOWING LOVE ON THE "COMMUNITY LOVE DAY (QUEENSBOROUGH FAMILY REUNION")
Looking forward to more events and opportunities to get to know our neighbors
The Love Day/Queensborough Family Reunion was a success. There were appearances by Mrs. Amy Vu with a Voter Registration and beauty booth. Chaplain Calvin Kimble and others along with him covered everyone with beautiful and heartfelt, sincere prayers for the event and our city. Commissioner Roy Burrell was present with well wishes for successful neighborhood improvement and growth. There were giveaways, the children enjoyed themselves with the bounce houses as well as one another, the food was out of this world and the ones serving we thank you so much. The DJ was epic and this truly was a time to remember those from Queensborough who are no longer with us but give us the inspiration to make the necessary change to make memorials for the next generation's accomplishments and legacies. A special thanks to everyone that helped set up, clean up, and showed up, thanks to Ms. Cammy Wright for the Love Day Celebration, Mr. Aaron Lewis from the Bilberry Park SPAR for supplying equipment, and again to everyone who participated, played a part in organizing and mobilizing this awesome event. We truly are better together.
